Ski Resort

If you are staying at Lodge Nonaka, White World Oze Iwakura is definitely recommended! Ski down the main slope and go straight to the entrance of Nonaka. The gondola station is right in front of you, so it's in a great location.

The 18 courses are varied and can be enjoyed by beginners to advanced skiers. There are a variety of courses, including difficult courses with large moguls, long courses from the summit to the base, and national athletics courses. The snow is fine powder snow.

When you climb to the summit by gondola, you will find yourself on the slopes at an altitude of 1,703m. On your right, you can see Mt. Shibutsu, which is famous in Oze, and in front of you, the Nikko Shirane mountain range is majestically connected. Below you can see Katashina Onsenkyo, which is rich in spring water, and when you ski down from the summit, you will be overwhelmed by the scale of the course.

The Nishiyama course is located in the depths of White World Oze Iwakura, over one mountain. The area is surrounded by the unexplored natural beauty where you can see the Japanese serow, a special natural monument. From the summit you can see Mt. Hotaka and the vast Kanto Plain, and on a clear day it's a great spot for photos. Both the scenery and the course are very popular!
